saving groups as presets?

Post by yentzee » Tue Sep 06, 2022 9:47 am

Hi,
does anyone know if there is a way to save a group as a preset?
For example I have a moog minitaur. The synth needs three channels. the first for the midi data to the synth, the second for the editor that connects through the minitaur usb driver and a thrid for an audiochannel where the sound of the synth comes into my interface for recording. Additionally I have certain plugins on the audio in channel (tuner, EQ, FFT, etc) and it would be great if I could just save the whole group. I have some Elektron Gear and when using overbridge I have to open up several tracks, one for the plugin that connects to the hardware, 4 audio channels for the individual tracks of an analog 4, a midi track if I don't want to use the internal sequencer of the unit.
It is a pain to set that up and as I don't use it in every project I don't want to include those things in a preset which takes ages to load the more is in there.

Thanks for helping

Easy: drag and drop the Group Track anywhere where it makes sense in your User Library.
