how to record any sound and play it ?

I'm new here and only have a few months of experience with Ableton. I would like to record a sound with the microphone and play that sound on the keyboard. Is there any way to do this? any plug or effect? I want to build my own sound base. please help.

You can record it to a clip, then enter midi mapping mode and assign that clip a range of keys on your keyboard. That’s probably the simplest way.

Or you can put the recording in a Simpler on a midi track and use that to play it.
