Overdubbing not hearing new notes

iPhone with iOS 16.1.1 - Note version 1.05

Hello - when I have an existing clip and I go to add midi over it using the pads, the new notes will not play until I 'accept' them. I have seen in the tuorial video of these playing without first accepting them. Is there a setting I need to change?

Ah, yes - I re-watched the tutorial and see that now. Duh. Thank you.

Well - maybe that could be a feature to be added later.
