Finn, I love that "Honey Gravel" track! I posted a little comment ;) It also leads very nicely into the "Frozen Mirror" track. For "The Things The World Will Do" I think the lead is too loud compared to the rest, my 2 cents, but very nice work as well. Gonna definitely follow what you do!

The music being made by this forums members has gotten a lot better lately.
I feel its now on par with commercial releases.
Good Job to everyone who has posted.

I have only finished one song this year otherwise I would post.

Thank you for listening and commenting. The track is a minute shorter and on it's 5th mix-down from the initial posting of it....
This year, I hope to motivate and do some branding and marketing....
So I will look into taxi and such....Some people say it is the best thing that ever happened to them, others say they waisted $$$ and never got a bite out of it :?

OK, reworked the track a bit

https://soundcloud.com/re-dreams-workshop/deeper-waters

EQ'ing is still a bit rough

I am unsure about the percussion sounds. I want something more solid and more smooth. Perhaps turn the swing up a bit.

Any feedback would be most appreciated.

thanks!

Dig it. Can't comment on the mix cause I listened on my iPhone speakers. Maybe sprinkle in some white noise risers/reverse snare samples. :)

Finn --> Acid Honey:
Nice work Finn - nice and moody again :)

-----------------------------
Slatepipe --> the man who would be i can't:
Wow, that was quite a trip! Really nice.

--> i am going to find a snake and hide him in the park
Haha, nice! I downloaded the pack. Who knows where it will lead in the future, lol

-----------------------------
shadx312 --> LiveLoungeruff
Really enjoying this track. I wouldn't really change too much with it.

Looking forward to checking more Blond Bandit stuff. This live track playing after it sounds dope.
Glad you liked it Shadx! I am curious to check out Dragonfly, thanks for the tip ;)

As for the "live track" it is a live recording of my DJ set at Salon Daome in Montreal. The organizers record the music (from the console) and crowd ambiance (mics) and blend the two after to post on Soundcloud. The first track is Marcus Sur - Unlike The Sun.

Here is another December track of mine:

http://soundcloud.com/janpienkowski/ono ... wski-magog

Actually it was first released back in 2004, but I re-released it 10 days ago - so I figured it could potentially qualify as a December track ;)

This is pretty nice feller. I just listened to it on the train from York to London in a backwards facing seat with about four pints and two wines on board. It worked well
