Ableton forgetting output config when device not available
Re: Ableton forgetting output config when device not available
same here, I use a macbook on different stations (for different purposes) and of course I use many different audio drivers, it's very annoying to have to activate all I/Os after you loaded a project which does momentarily not have access to the old interface. rather tedious with 64+ I/O.
Re: Ableton forgetting output config when device not available
With the latest version I’m using system config (which is my main interface) so in someway the problem is solved for me finally.

Re: Ableton forgetting output config when device not available
Just reporting back... As reported in this thread, I have these problems in Live 11.0.12.
Since upgrading to 11.2.10, they have all but gone away. It now has the "Use System Device" option for the Input and Output device, which I imagine I could make use of, but I really haven't had to use that. This version is much better a finding the same device I previously used, which it used to forget despite the same device being connected.

Re: Ableton forgetting output config when device not available
I'm also having this issue. Currently running Live 11.2.11 on an M1 Max MacBook Pro.
Three times now I've written 72 channel labels, set hardware input states, and set buffer size for an Audient EVO 16 interface (not a macOS aggregate device).
Three times now I've reopened Live to find all 72 labels gone.
I've now written a total of 288 channel labels. I can't keep doing this.
@mods... What's the proper way to report a bug? Is there a fix in the works?
