I see this is a very old thread, but I have the exact same problem now
Has there come a better way to fix this, 11 years later?
I thought EQ 8 would fix that if I chose "Low cut"? When I look at SPAN, there's still frequencies below 20Hz even if I put EQ 8 at at the and of my master (but before SPAN of course).

Yes, in EQ8 simply change the High Pass Filter to HPFx4 and you get an 48dB/oct (8th order) slope..
Cuts steeper and more efficient, but also introduces much more phase shift..
