I'm still trying to determine if this is a Volca issue or not. But i'm having issues getting Ableton to control my Volca via Midi.
I've tested a bunch of different devices and cables to see if the device is behaving bad, and I think it is but here are my tests. I used the same cable between tests to prove it wasn't the cable. All my Ableton settings are correct. Since they work fine with other devices. My setup works perfect, except for the Volca. Remove the Volca from my setup and it's a perfect working studio. Looking for any ideas of what might be off. I am 99% sure it's not ableton settings for MIDI Remote/Sync etc, since it works for everything else. I've checked the midi channels a million times, it's not that.

Novation Keys -> Microfreak = Good
Novation Keys -> Volca FM 2 = Good
Ableton -> Scarlett -> Volcal FM 2 = Nothing
Ableton -> Roland UM -> Volcal FM 2 = Nothing
