Please help me out with this - doing my head in!

Post by friza » Sat May 27, 2023 1:06 pm

I use Ableton to make DJ mixes, so I import a lot of songs with the repitch function:

All of a sudden Ableton Live decided to Warp with multiple markers when importing a song (Pics attached) instead of only using a marker on the 1st start of the song and warping from there. I have it set to repitch, and this was usually a quick process and it got the tempo right straight away, now with multiple markers its off and also it creates a cpu spike when doing this. I can obvs set it manually after but then it also doesn't read correctly so have to type in BPM myself to get it right. Tedious.
Any thoughts on how I can have it reset as to how it always was?

I think originally (maybe before the update of 11.3.2?) every song imported with Warp Straight From Here - and now it doesn't.

Ok, i reinstalled 11.2 and its back to normal again. Can't believe they thought this was an improvement in 11.3.

Yeah, I agree this is definitely visually distracting now. That said, the tempo detection is MUCH, MUCH better in the new version so hopefully there’s a compromise coming.
