Autosampler

Post by hellnegative_ » Fri May 26, 2023 11:51 pm

One thing I rely on with my Maschine plus and did as well with my Froce, is the auto sampler feature. This allows me to easily take vst sounds and hardware sounds on the go with me.

Is there an autosampler on the ableton push 3 standalone?
If not, is it in the pipeline?

There is no autosampler in Push 3.

Oof. Hopefully it gets added sometime in the future for all us hardware nerds. The current method for creating multi sampled instruments in Live is quite dated.

I just started with M4L but autosampling isn’t more than sending MIDI Messages to a synth while sampling audio input. I am sure the MIDI part is easy, but I don’t know if you can sample from M4L

it's something that Ableton sorely lacks in terms of native apps. I usually use Logic's one; and I know you can use Sampler for multisamples (128 sample limit?) - but until we can use Kontakt in standalone, it's definitely a limitation for me.
I'm patient enough I guess ...
