DRIFT problem with playing chords and using sustain pedal

Post by Tagw » Sat Jun 03, 2023 2:43 pm

Hey. I have a problem where when I play a synth in ableton and use the sustain pedal, sometimes the whole chord doesn't get played and it's only one of the notes, that I play, that gets triggered.
I haven't been able to figure out exactly when this error occurs. I think it has something to do with the timing between when I play a new chord and press the sustain pedal.
I know that it has nothing to do with how many voices, cause it's set to 32 voices.
Has anyone experienced the same thing and possibly fixed it? All help is welcome:)
EDIT: I've also recorded the synth and even though the error happens when I play live, it doesnt happen when i play back the midi. Sadly this isn't helping me, as I have to perfom live this.
EDIT 2: I've found that it only happens with the new drift synth and sometimes when i press the sustain pedal, while holding a chord, it stops the chord from playing. Even though I'm still holding the chord.

It's a known Drift bug. Should be fixed asap.
