Push 3 Official Bag & Accessories
Push 3 Official Bag & Accessories
The Push 3 is pretty hefty, which is great but I can't see my self carrying this around without a proper carrying case.
Will Ableton release an official bag/case for the Push 3?
Also I suppose Ableton will be making adapters for CV outputs and midi, as shown in the introduction video, can we know when they'll become available to buy?
Thanks

Re: Push 3 Official Bag & Accessories
It would be good to know.
Decksaver told me they will have a plastic cover available in July
I wonder when UDG will have a UDG creator case available (or other manufacturers)

If I have one gripe, it’s that a my $2,063 push 3 does not come with the midi adaptor cables.

No word on any official bags or travel cases at this point, sorry!

That's a solid point indeed! Midi and CV adaptors included in the box would have been very nice for end users.bobbyduracel wrote: ↑Sat Jun 03, 2023 6:55 pmIf I have one gripe, it’s that a my $2,063 push 3 does not come with the midi adaptor cables.
Especially since CV is actually one of the new features of Push 3, those split dual female 3.5mm to single male 6.35mm TRS are not exactly easy to find are they?

It’s very stingy and does nothing to help with sales or brand imageAudivit wrote: ↑Sat Jun 03, 2023 8:12 pmThat's a solid point indeed! Re: Push 3 Official Bag & Accessories
It feels like it maybe launched a few weeks too early and that there were struggles around price point. Lots of references to being able to buy cables etc in the shop but then no option to do so.
A longer USB cable, a couple of type A adapters, a realistically long USB cable, a CV adapter and an option of Live suite with both versions would have seemed a way to go.
No doubt however all of the things will have been considered at Ableton Mansions and decisions were made with *full* knowledge of the facts unlike us limited by conjecture.
I like the product. It's going to be stellar.

I bought (expensive, but I think worth it, given I'm going out to MS-20FS and an 0-Coast) two of the reversible, tank-like build braided-cable Elektron CK-1 kit. They are fantastic, if a little large.Audivit wrote: ↑Sat Jun 03, 2023 8:12 pmThat's a solid point indeed! Midi and CV adaptors included in the box would have been very nice for end users.

Re: Push 3 Official Bag & Accessories
I contacted Magma, they say their CNTRL case will work:
“yes it fits!
The Case was always slightly bigger for the Push 2 (in depth) that's why it has an additional (removable) foam included.
Fort he Push 3 it fits perfectly.
But we are also working on an update model now, that will also feature an additional cable compartment and shoulder-strap.
It will be available in November.“

Re: Push 3 Official Bag & Accessories
I bought a soft case from Synth Toys, who also do a hard case with shoulder strap. Pretty happy with it! The one I got has a section for the push and another which has plenty of room for cables, power supply and other stuff. It’s quite well protected, although I do wonder a bit about the corners where the zip is, so probably if I were doing it again I’d have gone for the hard case.

Re: Push 3 Official Bag & Accessories
Here's another contender for the cheap and cheerful *unofficial* Push 3 travel bag:
https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0C6JWJH2L?ref ... tails&th=1
Cost about $40 CAD. Worked great for some affordable protection,
although best for times when you will keep the bag with you -
NOT heavy-duty road-worthy for touring!
I got the smallest version and did augment it with a strip of foam in the bottom for some extra protection.
Room for quite a few accessories like cables, launchpad, Korg NanoKEY2 and power supplies.
