Push 3 stand alone - sound preview
Push 3 stand alone - sound preview
Couldn't find anything, is there a preview functionality?
Also, is there a way to install ALL already downloaded packs?
(stand alone mode)
EDIT: found preview Was sitting outside in the sun ☀. Now indoors I see it.
2nd question remains

You mean other than manually clicking the install button for each pack, one by one?
Then, nope...

Yeah, OTHER than that
Especially as after each installation p3 jumps to the just installed pack, instead of staying in the available packs menu. Maybe a setting for that?
Is there a feature request /suggestion function here as well or should I go to centercode?
Re: Push 3 stand alone - sound preview
You're welcome adding it to Centercode.
Honestly, I don't think it's relevant to install all Suite packs on P3, for several reasons like:
- imo some type of library/instruments don't really make sense for strictly P3 use (it makes sense to have them if you're bouncing projects on and off between Live and P3, though)
- several M4L packs are based on devices that don't work on P3S
- it'll grow like crazy the not-searchable Browser
- it's a great opportunity to play with limitations

Not install all. Install all that I manually selected and downloaded already .[jur] wrote: ↑Mon Jun 05, 2023 11:20 pmYou're welcome adding it to Centercode.

Currently I need to manually go thru the whole list twice, once to download and then once again to install, which is a pita.
A multi selection list in packs would be great. Select the packs you want, and then have a button saying "download and install"
Btw does the available pack list filter out non working M4l devices?
Re: Push 3 stand alone - sound preview
The pack installation experience is a nightmare. I really hate it.

Re: Push 3 stand alone - sound preview
Try to delete packs after going through the painful installing process.
The packs disappear and are visible again as "available packs".
But - it seems that the underlying files do not get deleted.
The available disk space does not change under the status tab after uninstalling packs - the shown number stays the same.
To make things worse if you install on of those uninstalled packs again more disk space goes away.
But uninstalling does not give that disk space back.

Yep, we have this bug filled. I don't know if this is a just a problem with the free space indicator itself not updating correctly, or if the physical drive space isn't free up at all, though.Pandamonia wrote: ↑Tue Jun 06, 2023 5:19 pmTry to delete packs after going through the painful installing process.
