Push 3 audio interface not working in standalone mode

Hi, I wanted to record a video with my Push in standalone mode using the USB-C port but none of my devices see the usb connection unless it's in controller mode. Is there a setting I don't see (I think I've read everything everywhere, but I might have missed it)?

I've searched the forum for the same question but I haven't found it, sorry if it's been already asked.

So it's probably the same as the MPC Live etc. where in stand alone mode the A/D converters, and the rest of the audio interface are being used by the internal computer. So in order to do what you wanted Ableton would have had to have two audio interfaces built in to Push 3. I'm certain this is the case, as it's a similar issue I had with the MPC Live. It would be pretty cool if they had done this, but not very cost effective since only a small amount of people are affected by it.

Record a video with your Push? Push is an audio device. It doesn't send or receive video.

The audio interface works just fine in standalone mode. Sound is emitted from the audio outputs marked on the back.

For clarification,

1. Are you trying to record audio from a video into your push?

2. Use an external device to record video to the push?

3. Capture video output from the push?

Can you push the video through the audio until it’s only audio you have from the video on push?

If you are trying to record audio from your standalone Push in realtime to be part of the soundtrack to your video, then you need to treat Push 3 like any other device that outputs its audio through jack plugs, not like a device that sends its audio through USB.
