I thought this to be a very simple question, yet when I search on the 'net I get a million results, NONE of them saying "Yes, a bus and a group are the same in Ableton Live.".
In Live I can't even SEE any mentioning of a bus, all I see is audio tracks/midi tracks and return tracks.
Also, I don't see any Aux tracks, that word that every pro seems to use like it's in every DAW.
And then I can get VERY frustrated. Is it too much to ask to get a simple answer from a simple question?
I'm not having a stab at you guys, it's just that I need 100% clearance on this.
So: are they the same?
Thank you.
Is in Live a bus and a group the same thing?

For pretty much all intents and purposes, yes they are the same thing.
