view m4l devices from three different tracks at once?
Been searching for this answer for hours!
Have one m4l device each on three different tracks and I would like to seem them all at one time. Is this possible?

Re: view m4l devices from three different tracks at once?
No, unless the M4L Devices themselves have been programmed to have a floating window.

You can't look at three clips that are playing at the same time either, thats how Live works.

Yep. It seems like every couple years I try to see if Live will solve some problem for me and it's always the same: It doesn't. I'm surprised in 2023 it still is rather inflexible.

Use a different DAW, you['re asking it to change the very basis of how it works.

I am using different DAWs, just trying to solve a problem
However, there is nothing about Live that screams ONLY ONE M4L DEVICE CAN BE VISIBLE AT ONCE. It's not fundamental to its operation. It's just an inflexibility.
But that is the thing about Ableton Live. For all its "innovations", it is surprisingly inflexible.

You can see one tracks detail at any one time, that is its fundamental design.

It was the same with VSTs and they modified that, right? Things can change my friend. This isn't DAW-altering haha
Re: view m4l devices from three different tracks at once?
VST's have floating windows of their controls, for MaxforLive devices I refer you back to my original answer....
