'Ableton Push 3 xPort' missing driver Win11
Looking in the Device Manager under other devices on Windows 11, I noticed a missing driver for 'Ableton Push 3 xPort'. Anyone else see this as missing? Anyone know what the device is (MIDI ports maybe)?
I do have the 'Ableton USB Audio Devices' enabled in the list and all seems to work ok, I am just curious.

Same. Got my Push 3 today, installed it, got the audio drivers installed, but still have a "Ableton Push 3 xPort" device with a yellow exclamation mark in Device Manager. Trying to install a driver for it by pointing it to "C:\Program Files\Ableton\Push Driver" fails saying Windows can't find a matching driver at that location.
What is this device and why isn't the driver for it included in Live?

I have the same. Windows 11. AMD Treadripper 3970X. Device seems to generally be working OK but this missing driver has put my OCD in to overdrive

Found this for the push 2 display driver.. https://help.ableton.com/hc/en-us/artic ... ssues-Win-
Can’t check since I’m not on windows, but maybe there’s an installer for the push 3 drivers at that hidden directory?
Also seems like (at least with push 2) Ableton will attempt to reinstall drivers if you uninstall them from device manager. They also recommend connecting to a different USB port when you reconnect to your computer.

Re: 'Ableton Push 3 xPort' missing driver Win11
There's no driver for the Push 3 there. The Push 3 driver gets installed by the main Live installer into C:\Program Files\Ableton\Push Driver.
Unfortunately that driver is old - dated September 22, 2022, and does not support the orphaned "Ableton Push 3 xPort" device.
Release notes for the Push 3 1.2.0 firmware included in the 11.3.10b2 beta mention a new Push driver version 5.57, but that driver has not been included in any of the beta installers.
I asked on the beta forums why there is an orphaned Push 3 device in Device Manager and where to find this new 5.57 driver but nobody replied.

Re: 'Ableton Push 3 xPort' missing driver Win11
My (possibly incorrect) understanding is that when one installs a driver, it gets squirreled away in a folder (C:\Windows\System32\Drivers, perhaps?) where the operating system can find it to reinstall it if a device matching the driver appears in the future.
Re: 'Ableton Push 3 xPort' missing driver Win11
I reported the problem to Ableton Support, who informed me that the xPort driver is an internal debugging tool that is not distributed along with Push. Therefore, the missing xPort driver is a normal phenomenon.

Thanks for the update.
