I love that the arrow keys let me slide an audio file left or right in the arrange view! Real handy for moving edits around. Great for us people who like to use the keyboard shortcuts as much as possible. Really speeds up workflow.
BUT!!!! **cue dramatic record scratch sound effect**
It's VERY annoying that the view jumps to show the start of the file, each time you "nudge" it, left or right.
Could we have a way to turn that off, or just get rid of it?
It's really distracting when working with bigger files.
Very often I am lining up a bigger file with another on the grid, so I'm zooming in to see if the transients line up (for example), so it's really frustrating that with each nudge left or right, the view jumps to the beginning of that file. I'd very much like to keep the view where I am lining up the files. So can we just keep the view on where the playhead is?
I know this is a very nit-picky minor thing, but I just had to come here to have a little moan about it.
