Enables key and scale control from one place, automatable. White key-players would all subscribe.
Great functionality for on-the fly experimentations with macro-control variations. Would add infinite variety to ableton-made songs long-term.

Technically, these midi effects could be added to the master track - at the beginning as with instrument tracks. Might help to add a distinction between drums and non drums, with some defaults being there, saved with the project template.
