Solo by default when clicking on tracks

Post by ERIC27 » Sun Oct 22, 2023 12:04 pm

Hi,

Maybe I'm missing something (not hard user) but it'd be very usefull to have selected tracks in SOLO when going to one to the other tracks (rather than having to deselect previous track that was in Solo, then to re-put in Solor the new one.

Sugg :
CMD + Click on [S] button, and then the SOLO for all tracks is active ; thus with plenty of tracks you can hear/compare one by one easily by clicking on track (even with arrow kyboard < & > )

Thanks to tell me if possible, I may have missed something..

There is an option for this already, check the manual.
That's how I have it.

:?:

Either you or I didn't understand the request.
What I think the OP wants is a solo mode like one that exists in Logic i think, where once this "solo selection" mode is enabled, clicking anywhere on e.g track A solo it without the need to do anything else.
If you then select track E/a clip on track E, track A gets unsolved and track E gets solo'ed.
If that was the question then, no that doesn't exist in Live natively.
