Emoji Colour Missing

Post by The Rabbits » Sun Jul 09, 2023 1:25 am

I've been using emojis in my folder names, device names, collection names and so on for a while to help organise things. Hearts for favourites, stop signs to remind me not to delete something and so on.
I just noticed in the last few days that they aren't showing in colour any more. They're just in monochrome. This makes them pretty useless. Colour is way more noticeable than a grey symbol.

I've tried removing and adding them, different symbols and different Live themes but nothing seems to work. Also tried the beta and it's the same.

Does anyone know if this a bug, an intentional change or something in my setup? Really hoping it's not permanent.

I just checked here on L11.3.4 and no problem.
Which Live version are you using? Which OS?

Thanks for the quick response.
Same version. On Windows 11 Insider.
Must be something else messing with it. Insider is definitely a possibility.

It seems Windows is to blame.
Colours don't work on emojis anywhere any more.
I found a few "fixes", but they didn't.
