I noticed that after installing Live 11 on Windows the two .cab files are copied into C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\ and then into one of the subfolders there.
They seem to serve no purpose, since it's still possible to uninstall Live without them.
It would be nice if they were removed automatically or if the installer didn't copy them in the first place, saving 2+GB of drive space.

after installing some updates I've got impressing 27GB of Ableton Live xx installer data.
So it's a good idea to look into that folder from time to time...

You can thrash those files, but I reckon it should be automatic once Live is installed.
