I often take an Audio Effect Rack and then have a channel each for low, mid and high frequencies by eq'ing them.
Would be nice if there was an Audio Effect Rack 2.0 that would allow convenient splitting the signal by frequency, level, tonal/transient, panorama, spectral and the like...
