OK, so the other night I added a track to Ableton, set it up as an external instrument - Hydrasynth.
Chose a nice string patch. Recorded a midi clip.
Nice.
Went into midi clip to set up the patch change data so it would recall when i next opened the set and... the data was already there!!
Brilliant!
Only thing is, I'm not sure how or why it recorded the patch change and have tried to recreate the event to no avail!
Its amazing but would love to know how I did it!
