Editing notes on Push 3
Hello all, is there a way to move all notes or just one note up and down octaves in the melodic: 64 notes layout in the Push 3? Can not find any info in the manual. I did see videos on using the other layouts to be able to duplicate each note to where you want to put it, seems like a lot of work if you have a lot of notes.
thanks
thanks

Re: Push 3
You can in the clip screen at the top, that said i would like to be able to select some notes and pitch them up or down, not necessarily one or all.
Re: Push 3
To select multiple notes, use the jowheel to navigate to a note and press it to select the note. You can then repeat the process and add notes to your selection.DavidassMagoza wrote: ↑Sat Dec 16, 2023 3:23 pmYou can in the clip screen at the top, that said i would like to be able to select some notes and pitch them up or down, not necessarily one or all.

Re: Push 3
Thanks, this is very handy. Although I would love to see more ways to select MIDI notes in clip view with Push, such as being able to select all notes of a particular key/drum/pad (this works in the drum sequencer but nowhere else), or select all notes in a given range (maybe shift + jogwheel??)[jur] wrote: ↑Sun Dec 17, 2023 6:32 pmTo select multiple notes, use the jowheel to navigate to a note and press it to select the note. Re: Push 3
Say I have a clip on a drum rack with a kick, snare & 16th high hat across 4 bars and I wanted to select all the hat notes. Using Push, is there a way to select all the hats at once via some sort of shortcut? or do I need to manually go through all 4 bars selecting each hat individually? I've not found a way and find myself moving back to the mouse to just select them all.[jur] wrote: ↑Sun Dec 17, 2023 6:32 pmTo select multiple notes, use the jowheel to navigate to a note and press it to select the note. BTW, I edited your thread's title so people can have a clue about the topic.

Yes! I just happened to stumble on a video where a guy did this... You have to be in melodic sequence or loop selector layout though :/
1. Go to clip view
2. Change layout to melodic sequencer or loop selector (if using drumrack)
3. Hold Select
4. Hold the drum pad or note you want to edit
5. The clip view should now have everything in that note/pad highlighted
6. Now release select, but keep holding the pad lol
7. Edit with the encoders however you want
This may not have been exactly what you were looking for, but it can be suuuuper helpful when you have a ton of hihats or other notes that need a bulk edit.

Here’s the video. It’s long, but he does a lot of helpful techniques:
