Push 3 standalone not recording automation

I’ve been playing with my Push 3 since I got it and have been able to record automation before, but now for some reason even after a reboot hitting “automate” and then the record button doesn’t capture any automation. Is there some hidden setting I’m missing that is overriding the automation recording?

That's because you're in Session mode where you need to arm the track too (it's not needed in Note mode).
In Live there's an option to record automation on "all tracks" which doesn't require a track to be armed to record automation, but this option isn't implemented on P3S atm.
You should politely let Support know that it's missing

Yea apparently thats the problem. I hadn’t noticed it before. Thanks for the advice. I’m slowly learning some subtle tips and tricks that I haven’t found good documentation on. Thanks!
