How to control external Moogerfooger MF-101 Filter Cutoff / add LFO with CV Tools

New here, hope I'm in the right thread and one of you can please advise.

My setup is as follows:

Ableton Live 11 & CV Tools
UAD Apollo 8 CH.8 OUTPUT (TRS cable) into the Moog MF-101 CUTOFF INPUT.

(I'm assuming I don't need a midi-cv converter with this particular audio interface based on the Ableton website. Please correct me if I'm wrong)

I've downloaded Ableton CV Tools but am at a loss as to how to set up the routing ie. 'Audio From' and 'CV gate to' etc??

How exactly should the output of the UAD CH.8 be routed into the CV Tools so the Moog receives the CV to activate the Cutoff etc?

I simply want to be able to automate the MF-101 Cutoff in Ableton and also then use the CV tools for LFO / Envelope etc etc to send to the filter.

My ultimate wish is to create a sort of analog version of the Ableton 'Auto-Filter' with a synced S&H/random LFO using the Moog MF-101 and the CV Tools.
