I am still a bit new to LIVE but have had some success with triggering repeats, locator changes etc with key mappings as well as midi triggers. And I have successfully created a fade in and fade out button in LIVE but I have to trigger the fade out clip with one key and the fade in clip with another key.
Has anyone had any success with creating a single mini control that you can press one button to fate out, and then press the same button again to fade in? I typically run all of my sessions through arrangement view, if that matters…
Possible?? for 1 button Fade Out & In

Actually -- figured it out. Needed two tracks (one for fade out and one for fade in). Also needed a midi trigger to toggle the Track Activator on or off depending on if you do a fade out or fade in. Same Midi controller button can then be used to fire on the track that is active.
