Glitches in Session view when tempo map in arrangement

Hi,

I have had this issue for many years now (I think this behavior came in Live 10)

My Live sets have many tracks, I generally work with 32 to 64 audio outputs, around 50 to 120 tracks.

I always start programming a show in Arrangement View, then when I'm close to opening, I transfer everything to Session View. During this process, I have to keep stuff in Arrangement View, meaning the tempo map is still there. I generally cut my music every 4 or 8 bars, so I have multiple cues for rehearsal purposes.

Now what happens when I do this, is every scene change I hear a small glitch, the sound is not fluid. If I delete everything in Arrangement View, (including tempo map) then my session view is fluid, glitch free.

Current workaround : set the Latency to 2048 Samples, then session view is fluid.

IDEALLY I would keep the tempo maps in Arrangement view, so If I need to do an edit, it is fast. But unfortunately I have to delete everything in arrangement View, so I can run proper rehearsals.

Hope this gets fixed at some point !

Is it always happening, or only with specific sets?

By « tempo map » do you mean tempo automation in the master track ?
