And here we are, Ableton Live 12 gets released today - and guess what, the PDC issues still alive!

This thread is about sync - not PDC issues. The sync issue is COMPLETELY resolved in Live 12. One only needs to work with the Keep Latency feature and set a negative clock sync delay in Live's preferences after measuring their FIXED-to-the-current-buffer-setting latency.
The existing PDC issues are annoying, but at least they are mostly confined to transport-based effects.
