I'm on Win11
Arturia Fuse 4 audio interface with Fuse ASIO
Inputs output correctly set (afaik)
I can play an instrument into the Fuse and hear it back through the headphone socket in the Fuse
all devices set to 48khz
I can't hear a test tone or a track I've recorded.
Any ideas?
thanks
Nick
No playback or test tone v11 lite Windows
Re: No playback or test tone v11 lite Windows
When you say instrument, do you mean an instrument virtually in Live? Or a plugged in / mic’ed instrument like a guitar?
It sounds like it could be monitoring balance. Many interfaces let your do direct monitoring of your instrument incase potential latency hearing it ‘through’ the software could throw off your playing.
I’d check the balance on that. If it is too far one way, you only hear things going into the interface. If it goes the other way, you should hear purely sounds through the software.

Thanks for the questions. I mean plugging in my guitar to input 1.
I haven't touched any balance controls so either way I should at least get half a signal.

Re: No playback or test tone v11 lite Windows
I've solved it, and it's madness.
The minifuse has a USB C output. I was using it with a USB C to USB A input to the PC.
I switched to USB C to USB C input, and now it works!
Can anyone explain? (reminds me of The Year of the Flood by Runrig)
With a previous interface C to C didn't work properly.
EDIT
I spoke too soon. It worked about 3 times, then it stopped working. This stuff isn't easy is it.
EDIT EDIT
Fixed with a reboot.
Then the test tone was noisy, like there was interference, but stopping software, moving the laptop etc made no difference. Fixed that by ticking the box for 'safe mode' in the ASIO driver.
