Why is it ALL or 1 instrument for "MIDI From" on a track

I want to have 2 of my controllers to transmit to a midi track. Under "MIDI From" I can select "ALL" or I can pick 1 instrument. Is there any way to select 2 instruments without having to make another midi track for the second controller?
