Greetings,
Just had the unsettling experience of opening a project done in rosetta2 version in the native version to find a plug-in missing. Specifically Massive X VST3.
Tried rescanning plug-ins - no luck. Fixed by forcing a full rescan of plug-ins (hold Alt, press Rescan button under Preferences, Plug-Ins). Now Massive X shows up and the project works.
However, on doing the rescan I see that the plug-in scanner crashed (twice). Probably that's what happened before and that's why Massive X didn't show up.
I looked at the crash reports in Console, but these aren't easy to interpret. Lots of different plug-in names mentioned.
Is there any (reasonably quick) way to find out which plug-ins failed to scan and to rescan selectively for these?
Cheers,
Dave Y
