In the documentation Accessing the MIDI output of a VST plug-in is the following note:

Note: Live merges all MIDI channels to one channel when being routed internally from track to track. It is therefore not possible to send MIDI to separate tracks via separate MIDI channels.

Please DONT MERGE all MIDI channels to one channel when being routed internally from track to track. There are several VST plugins that send MIDI in more than one channel (for example: Reaktor, Reason Rack) that we use and would like to send MIDI to separate tracks via separate MIDI channels. As well as there are multi-timbral instruments, there are also multi-midi out instruments that we would like to use in Ableton Live.

Feature Requested: Add a feature to Ableton Live to allow the use a Multi-MIDI-Out instruments in one track to send internally MIDI to separate tracks via separate MIDI channels, (don´t merge) and alow each of the receiving track to select a MIDI channel from the sender track.
