Live 12 on Push 3 Standalone

Post by DavidassMagoza » Tue Mar 19, 2024 11:01 pm

Underwhelming is how i would describe it.

Granulator III is useless

Modulation devices are still useless

Wavetable still no user wavetable native support

Still no support for device variations

No sound similarity

No tagging

No midi goodies

etc etc etc

At this point its actually more fun and more interesting to use in controller mode as i get to do what i want quickly without figuring out how many workaround hoops i have to jump through with hours of prep to plan and setup.

Such a letdown

I like Meld and Roar on the Push 3 Standalone. Really hope that Ableton will add Midi Tools also soon.

At this moment buying the Push 3 controllor version is better. The Standalone needs more love, Ableton

They did say months ago, that the Push would not immediately be loaded with all the new stuff from 12.

And he says ‘for now’. I’m sure it’s all coming.

Yeah that would definitely save me a ton of time every time I use Push.

I almost got squandered at Elektronauts for giving my opinion haha, after all the time I've spent reporting bugs.

Please stop copy and pasting your same request into multiple threads, that doesn’t do anything but clutter up the forum when it can be discussed in a single thread. Thank you.

A workaround to play variations (it's 7$ but it's worth it) :
https://discrete.gumroad.com/l/cxtfm?layout=profile

The device automatically detects variations on the selected device across the whole set, and you can play variations !

But again, you have to manage your macros on a computer.
Someone finds a workaround to assign macro with standalone ?
