Hello,
Can we please get the same MIDI features to split a note (IE E+Cmd split by grid, E+Opt and drag split in smaller parts) to split an audio file? at the moment its an excruciating process to split an audio file. especially long ones.
Many people who work with audio files will find this very handy. this is one of the features I miss the most from logic.
Thank you

You can definitely split audio when in arrangement mode, with the same command+E. Doing this in session view would be pretty cool though. As a workaround, I make my edits in arrangement and then consolidate in a new track, now we have the new clip with edits while keeping the originals just in case.

Right, but that is not what I am saying.
In a midi clip, if you select a note and hit Cmd+E it will slice that note to the current grid. IE 16th, 8th, or narrower, again, depending on the grid. if you select a note and hit Alt+E and drag up, it will slice the note in similar parts. I would like to have those options for audio files, in arrangement view.
