automate chords and melodies rhythms

Just checked out this video demonstration of Groove shaper.
Wondering how to achieve similar chord/melody chopping in Ableton Live Suite 12.
The idea is to have long midi notes dynamically chopped to come up with chords and melody rhythms.

Any suggestion?

yes, thank you, I already experimented with them.
However, I still have not figured out how to use them for my goal.

I would have my chords playing (pressed all the time) and use a transformation or generation tool (or a midi effect) to break them down into multiple notes.
I checked if someone already came up with the same idea and made a M4L device but didn't find one yet.
