Not working: Slice to simpler using slicing preset and warp markers

Hi

I have set up a slicing preset with a drum rack and a simpler and I set up my audio clip with markers and I slice to warp markers.

What happens is the slices are properly represented on the drum pads but what plays is something different because the Simpler has sliced to transients. I'm confused how the drum pads could have the correct number of slices while the simpler has incorrect slices. What plays seems to be random transients it selected.

Why isn't my simpler slicing to warp markers when I select it?

Slicing to built in works fine but then I don't have a a simpler.

What do I do?
