Master/Slave Midi clips

Post by bishbo2000 » Tue Apr 09, 2024 4:40 am

I would like to be able to set one clip to be a Master Midi clip, and other to be "Slaved" to that clip, so if I make changes to the Master then it will also change any linked Slave clips. This will save having to copy changes across all clips in a track when an edit is made.

Currrently there is no way to do this except extending a looped clip. But once a section is broken, by muting or slicing, the channel wide editibility is lost.

I've seen this more often referred to as ghost, linked or replica clips. Personally, I'd go with replicant! A long-standing feature request that could be very handy.
