Smooth transition between incoming midi cc

Hi! Is there a way get a smooth transition between incoming external midi cc (control) values in Ableton. For example, if first midi cc value is 5 and and the next one is 46 then the change should be continuous 5,6,7,8,9...46.

Not if you’re using remote mapping.
If the CCs go in a track, then it’s possible with the help of m4l.
