Stretching midi pattern exponentially

Post by thegyratinggiblet » Wed May 08, 2024 9:58 pm

Hi,

Is there a way to stretch a midi pattern exponentially over time so that it slows down? I'm sure I've done this before but forgotten how.

I know I can stretch the pattern to be longer with markers within the midi clip but this just seems to stretch the whole section to be slower (or faster if stretched the other way). Any suggestions? TIA.

Live 12's 'Time Warp' MIDI Tool can speed up/slow down your notes within a clip..

Ah can it? Thanks, that’s good to know. Am still using 11 and haven’t rushed to upgrade for practical reasons just yet. Is it possible you can link me to any info?

Just found it. That’s exactly what I’m wanting to do. Many thanks!
