Simplify Envelope More - Automation Simplifier
like an extended version of the "Simplify Envelope" function that appears when you select an automation curve and right click.
kind of like in photoshop where you can ask it "simplify more".
usually the resulting thing is not bad but i alwyas have to do a ton of cleaning up and it makes really weird decisions. tbh its not very smart
a more "broad strokes" preset option would be amazing.
elegant sweeping automation curves are the best

Hold down CMD or CTRL + F to bring up the find window and type in the term that you want, in this case "Automation"
If you want to observe a value constantly you'll need to see that this is allowed, most parameters can be "got" which could be set to constantly poll but will use CPU.
In this case you're looking to edit the values or "set" them, and as you'll find that's not possible within Live with MaxforLive.
