An Ode To:Closeness(Electronic & Alt-Rnb???)

Post by ark186 » Thu Aug 29, 2024 11:57 am

This is a bit scary but f*ck it haha

This song is the result of what happens when you lay a single finger on a touch-deprived person, they go write about how life-changing it was    Also, this song would not exist if it wasn't for Half Waif's poetry to melody One Thing video! What a cool songwriting trick. Anyways, please check out my song 'An Ode To: Closeness'. I would absolutely LOVE some feedback outside of my 5 friends haha.

I'm no professional so as a lay-person, this was really nice to listen to. I liked the vocals a lot and the overall vibe of the mix is super chill and very cinematic! Could certainly be in an intimate scene in a movie or series :-) I just wish at around 1:47 the track crescendoed with harder beats as sort of a climactic end to the track but that's a very personal and subjective take on this which I guess is good because that means I liked it enough to think about other ways to produce it :-) Giving you a follow on SC.

Cheers,
