Reduce string buzz

Post by gandalf458 » Sun Sep 01, 2024 12:46 pm

I have a recording with a bit of guitar string buzz due to bad fingering  Other than re-recording, is there an audio effect that can improve the sound if not to eliminate the buzz, at least to slightly reduce it?

Definitely not an easy one. You might be able to improve it a little bit with some clever eq'ing in defined spots, some cuts and volume automations.
Izotope RX have some useful guitar-specific tools.
But you'll be much quicker re-recording your guitar part. Also a properly set guitar plays a huge role

Thanks. I thought it might be too much of an ask.
