How do you configure the encoders to send MIDI CCs of one's choice to external gear connected to Push 3? In standalone mode.
I see 'CC Control' in MIDI effects and pitch and modulation work but setting up the other encoders seems incomprehensible. I see the 1-8 map and 8-16 map buttons but that just kick up an unreadable and again incomprehensible UI.
Can this not be done from Push? Do I have to do it in Live and transfer?

Also interested in this. I’m about to try it for the first time with external hardware, and current plan is to set up an instrument rack (External Instrument + CC control) in Desktop, map the instrument rack’s macros, then transfer the rack to push.
Would be great to know if there’s a better way

Things you would assume to be straightforward directly from my £1600 Push 3 but might not be #312writetomichael wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2024 9:38 pmdcjams wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2024 7:53 pmHow do you configure the encoders to send MIDI CCs of one's choice to external gear connected to Push 3? I guess not then. I guess you can’t set up Push 3 as a standalone MIDI controller from Push 3 itself
Jeez, wtaf?!
Bizarro
