Plugins from Windows project how to open on Mac?

Post by arminmetz » Sun Nov 03, 2024 7:38 pm

When I open a song in Live that I made on my Windows PC my macbook does not recognize its contained VST Plugins that I have installed on both computers. Is there a way that makes my macbook can recognize them? Smart renaming or something?

this should work (I'm doing this all the time), are you sure that the VSTs are installed and working on your Mac? Do you have any examples? Also make sure that the VST version is similar, when using VST2 on Windows, on your Mac also the VST2 version of that plugin should be installed - same for VST3...

Thank you! I just released that I didn't activate VST plugins in the plugin menu. it's working now

Also I realized that Ableton Live on Mac does not support vst2 plugins, just vst1 and vst3
