Track Names at the bottom of Session View!
A second track-name field at the BOTTOM of session view, say below the X-fader and delay field. I would find it so much easier if there was the equivalent of a "scribble strip" -or just the track name- down by the faders.
This is where you find the naming strip on analog mixing consoles for good reason - it's close to the action, ESPECIALLY in the heat of live performance.
Perhaps another button next to the X-fade and Delay on/off buttons could bring up this optional Track Name field.

Re: Track Names at the bottom of Session View!
Its 2023 and ableton still didnt do it. I have no words to explain how stupid it is. i have a vertical 32" monitor as a secondary monitor and i have to look 32 inches up to see the track name and come down another 32 inch to adjust the fader. WTF who da hell making these silly mistakes. I don't understand.

The best ideas seem so bleeding obvious.
