I received a brand new one!
Did you have to return the defective unit first?

Or will they ship the new unit before you return the old?

They shipped the new unit as soon as I sent them the tracking number for the defective unit being returned. I think I was only without the Push for a couple of days which was great :D

Good to know - thanks for following up!

In my case, there is an issue with the Tempo Display Encoder. When the issue manifests - about 50% of the time when I boot it - the Tempo display will stay lit and not go away. I can switch through Tempo, Swing and Groove but the display of tempo will not go away.

In what seems to be a related issue, the "touch to display tempo" functionality of the knob vanishes. So far the only cure I've found it to completely power the P3 OFF and reboot. If I switch between SA and Controller modes, or try loading different songs, they issue will persist until reboot.

Another variation of the issue is that the P will temporarily loose "touch to display tempo" functionality and I will have to change Tempo in order to display it temporarily on the screen.

Customer support have offered to replace my P3SA under warranty, so I'm just waiting for them to get in touch.

I just received my Push 3 and noticed right away that my second knob on my encoders was doing the same thing mentioned in this post. I sent an email out to the support team. Hopefully technical support will be able to help get me a new one if it’s truly a hardware issue. Straight out the box. Well better to find the problems now and not later. I was having a lot of fun too. The second knob is just too important for me to overlook. I was cross referencing on my pc to see if there were more selections and there were. It only moves a max 5 slots clockwise/counter clockwise. It affects many functions unfortunately. Appreciate this forum being here though.

I went back and forth with customer support, but in the end they got me to send my unit and sent a replacement. I got a referbished one, but it looks as new, and works fine though.

@GEEOHH8 As yours is brand new I would push (no pun) for a new one, instead of a referbished one. Assuming you are still within the 30 day period you still have to option to send it back and get a refund.

Guess what, the replacement unit I got seems to have the same issue, but this time with another encoder. I'm sure it will be replaced under warranty again, but at the same time i'm scared this will happen again and again until the warranty runs out. :?

That's a bummer. Actually the replacement unit I received also has the same issue with another encoder - but it's no way near as bad on this one, only happens once in a while. But it is annoying and I think I will probably also have to get another replacement while I have warranty.

Hope your next replacement unit is perfect - do let us know!
