Hey Abelton friends...long time Pro Tools user here trying to make things happen in Abelton 12 Live Standard.
I've about got our show made. I can't for the life of me figure out how to automate the click in Abelton. We hav a couple songs that come out of tempo at the end and I just need to be able to kill the click somehow.
I already know about stopping the click with a midi note. However, with our midi controller setup, this isn't a great option for reasons longer than the info needed from this post.
So, simple question, I'm using the Abelton click. Surely there is a way to just automate the volume all the way down or mute it when I need it to go away and come back when I need it again. In Pro Tools this is beyond simple. Just can't seem to find it here in Abelton. Thanks!
Metronome Automation
Re: Metronome Automation
It's not possible to automate it.
Best solution is to make click midi track.
But since it's not an option for you, then maybe midi mapping the metronome's on/off switch can be considered? You could also key/midi map the cue volume knob.
BTW, are you running your show in Session or Arrangement?

You can switch it on/off via max for live as well.
