More than 32 sets?
The set overview is nice, but could this be like "Favorite sets"? That way, I could add up to 32 sets to my favorites (similar to adding samples to a drum kit), and the rest of the sets could be available as a list, scrolled with the jog wheel.
I also work in Note, and well, sometimes I create 10-15 sketches (sets) daily in Note so in Move I will fill all set "slots" in less than 3 days.
The Move has 64GB of memory, and while it’s nice to have this space for samples and recordings, what if I don’t use samples? I can’t use that space for sets.
In tech specs is written:
"64 GB built-in SD Card" should be added: "for samples and recording" because it's impossible (at this moment :/ ) to use this space for saving sets.
If the Move is supposed to be a kind of sketchpad for ideas, then why am I so limited in the number of sketches? I don't want to transfer them to my computer or phone/tablet (to Note), I'd love to keep them in Move until I fill all free space of the Move memory
And btw. I can have synced only 8 sets with Ableton Cloud, so even I can't have synced that "impressive" (32) amount of sets which I can have saved in Move memory.
I really hope this will be addressed in future firmware updates, because at this moment to me, it feels like a bad joke.
Honestly, the 32-set limit is much more annoying for me than the 4-track limitation (even if I import a set made in Note and I only get the first 4 tracks, as the Note limit is 8 tracks).
ps. "64 GB built-in SD Card" <-- Btw. SD Card ? Sooo can I swap this to something bigger, like 128GB ? Sad that to check this I need to detach glued rubber foots because few screws are hidden under them (I didn't do this if someone want to ask about this

Adding pages accessed via the left/right keys would certainly be welcome I reckon.

This could be nice but IMO it will not be easy to findout which set is which, but it could be something.
Btw this is how it's look when I have saved 32 sets in my Move. In my case remaining of memory is wasted because I can't use it to save more sets

I've checked my Ableton Note stats on my iPhone and here you can see how over 400 sets (and also few samples which I recorded) took in case of storage use:
a little over 400MB...
From that point of view this 32 sets limit in Move looks even more ridiculous...

Multiple pages of sets really would be great. Why not a feature where you hold your finger on a set and it shows you the info on the screen? Even having the screen listing sets along with their date created or last time accessed (user choice) would be a welcomed way to navigate too. Likewise, could organize them on the pads by date too as a user-chosen view to navigate sets.VandaChaotica wrote: ↑Fri Nov 08, 2024 7:21 amThis could be nice but IMO it will not be easy to findout which set is which, but it could be something.

Yup, it could be great. For me, just a normal list like the one you have when you choose instruments/samples. The same mechanics: click the jog-wheel and load the Set. As for FAV sets for quick access, you could use pads like you have now. In my opinion, this solution would maintain the current design, so you would still have 32 sets for quick access, but you wouldn’t have the limitation of saving sets in the Move memory.
