I have a Akai MPC One and a Behringer RD6 and would love to trigger/sequence the RD-6 from the MPC. It's connected directly to the USB port on the MPC. I'm using a midi instrument on a track that's set to the correct output and channel for the RD-6. I can’t seem to map the midi notes to trigger the RD-6 from the Mpc’s pads even though I’m using the right midi note numbers and keys. I’ve tried mapping the pads directly from “Edit pad note map” and also from pad performance but no matter what I do it won’t work. I’ve connected a midi keyboard to the RD-6 and verified that it can both trigger the drum sounds and that the RD-6 is working. I’ve tried connecting the RD-6 to the Mpc both via midi and directly via usb. But no luck. I suspect pad performance is highjacking me somehow (I do have it set on Chromatic) but can’t seem to figure out how to turn it off.
